Kigezi High School's School Farm stands as a beacon of hands-on education in agriculture. Forestry

Aiming to instill environmental stewardship, Kigezi High School launches a forestry project on its grounds. Through planting indigenous trees, students learn sustainable practices and contribute to local ecology. This hands-on approach not only enhances the school's green footprint but also equips learners with valuable skills for Uganda's future sustainability endeavors.

Banana Plantation

Embracing Uganda's rich agricultural heritage, Kigezi High School introduces a banana plantation on campus. Serving as both a learning tool and a food source, students engage in sustainable farming practices. This endeavor not only supports local diets with nutritious bananas but also offers hands-on agricultural education, deepening students' connection to their land.

Piggery

Kigezi High School's piggery project is an innovative venture into sustainable livestock farming. Providing students with hands-on experience in pig husbandry, this initiative blends education with practical skills. Beyond teaching animal care, the project offers insights into business and supply chain aspects of farming, preparing students for diverse agricultural endeavors in Uganda.
